The Pediatrics Board Review Core Study Guide (affectionately called "the PBR") has been converted into PowerPoint slides, and we need YOU to lend your voice and personality to accompany the presentations.
No, I don't just mean reading the book or slides, because you know how boring that can be! Instead, I want you to provide your own particular style to make it as interesting and memorable as possible (with an emphasis on the word memorable!).

- PLUS an additional $250 CASH BONUS if you cover at least 40 pages (for a total of $2250 if you cover 40 pages)

About how much time should I expect to spend on this?
NOT AS MUCH AS YOU THINK!
To recap, your responsibilities will include…
1. Familiarizing yourself with the chapters you present (NOT memorizing them) so that you are COMFORTABLE making the PowerPoint presentation.
2. Adding your own personality to your presentation, and if possible, some royalty-free images. Image searches are usually 5 minutes per image. Some chapters have no, or minimal, images.
3. Creating a 20-minute webinar presentation per chapter, or perhaps per 20 pages covered, on material you feel the audience would benefit from (highest yield information, clarifying confusing topics, etc.
4. Answering questions for a 1-2 week window of time after your webinar presentation. This will likely be in a private Facebook forum type of environment. Very low pressure since you know the material well, and you can look up answers before responding. PLUS, other PBR members will likely be chiming in to answer questions before you even get a chance.
5. OPTIONAL private tutoring. Completely up to you. We’d setup the systems for you if you would like to make yourself available.
How much PBR material do I have to cover in order to participate?
Chapters vary from 1 page to 40 pages. Our hope is that we will have no more than 10 pediatricians covering all 30 chapters, but right now there is NO minimum.
Will I have to edit my own video?
NO!
We’ll chat and go through a brief interview process to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone
Do I have to own a camera and microphone? Or buy my own?
NO! Actually, you probably have everything you need already (smartphone headphones have a mic, and your computer likely already has a webcam!)… but if not, PBR will help you with AT LEAST 50% of the purchase price of any equipment you need in order to put together a great video. And if you need software, I’ll foot the bill and buy it for you!
If I signup now, am I committed?
NO! Actually, you probably have everything you need already (smartphone headphones have a mic, and your computer likely already has a webcam!)… but if not, PBR will help you with AT LEAST 50% of the purchase price of any equipment you need in order to put together a great video. And if you need software, I’ll foot the bill and buy it for you!
